Wedding Preparations

Preparations to create a beautiful wedding for Carolyn began months early as Michael (her dad) began preparing the back yard for the grand event. He dug a deep hole in the back southwest corner of the lot, placed a heavy membrane to hold water,
covered it with rocks, placed another heavy membrane down and covered it with more rocks and then with the help of a "waterfall/pond" expert and electrician they set up all of the mechanics to produce a 2 waterfall,

waterless pond (meaning it is only a couple of inches deep on the surface as the remainder of the flowing water is deep below the ground recirculating. The result was spectacular.

While Michael spent days and days on the back yard, Linda took charge of the wedding details.

We were thrilled for Carolyn to find a perfect wedding dress. As soon as we saw it we knew it was "Carolyn" and it fit so perfectly.

Carolyn's sisters, Natalie and Ashley, put on a "Bed & Breakfast" wedding shower for her. Family, aunts & cousins,

and Carolyn's high school friends and mom's attended.
Linda made the traditional tie quilt that all of her daughters and daughter in laws
have received except the pattern was a little different and more to be used for picnics than on their bed.

Ashley helped Linda with decorating the backyard deck and to help setting up the flowers around the yard.

Linda ordered the food from Sam's Club and then friends: Sue, Christie, Donna, and and Carolyn's sisters Natalie and Christine

had the job of cutting up all of the fresh fruit and preparing the sandwiches and salads.
