Back to School, Birthdays, Ward Campout, and Family Gatherings highlight our last days at home.
School starting in mid-August seemed to come really early. Some of our grandchildren received blessings by Grandpa before they returned to school.
Sage celebrated her first day of kindergarten.
After a month she was read a story to her mom and grandma.
Kody helped John celebrate his birthday.
Azia celebrated her birthday a couple of weeks before Thai celebrated becoming a teenager and liked the idea.
David, Elicia, and Gavin shared birthday celebrations in July, Aug. and Sept.
Elizabeth was awestruck by the many different purple frosted cupcakes to celebrate her birthday.
Her parents celebrated their birthdays the month before.
And though we will miss Tate, Keira, Helaina, & Kody's birthdays.
We gave those that were there an opportunity to blow out a candle and receive their birthday cards early.
Our Fruit Heights 5th Ward had their annual campout and we attended with Ashley & some of our grandchildren.
What fun memories to take with us of our children and grandchildren gathered together, enjoying each other's company, and having a good time.

To top things off Carolyn and David came up from Arizona the day before we flew out to say goodbye and wish us well.
Their visit was a good excuse for the family to gather one more time.
