Saturday: Ashley, John, and Christine's girls fixed breakfast. They were even better than McDonalds.
Today was the big game day. Natalie and Robert had lots of outdoor and some indoor games to play. We were divided into group so that we wouldn’t have other family members on our teams.
Before we got to Bear Lake we had tie dye large T-shirts, that were supposed to shrink when Grandma washed them, but ours came down to our knees.

Each team had a different color and everyone’s shirts were different because of the patterns from tie dying.

Let the games begin. First activity is the elephant swing
There were lots of yelling and screaming to cheer our teams on to win.

They were funny games like throwing straws to see how far we could throw.
Grandpa won and so his green team got a point.
One person from each team did one or two of the games.
Grandma and Grandpa had to suck an M&M through a straw and dump it into a cup. Grandma was better than Grandpa but she didn’t win.
Try moving a cookie from your forehead into your mouth without dropping it and without using your hands. You only used your face muscles. Grandma thought she'd get it done quickly be
Grandpa won the eating the cookie without using your hands.
When Robert ran the games people had to ran a distance to a point in the center (a ball that Keira kept moving), with the right person on their team that matched the question such as – the oldest person (from your team) who was born outside of Utah.
The big guys were so excited to play and win that when they ran to the goal point (the ball) Mike broke his thumb when the others piled into him. But he didn’t let that stop him from playing the rest of the games.
Cartwheels, wheelbarrow races, and just time to relax.
The orange team with John as the captain got the most points.
Natalie had some fun and challenging indoor games.
Stack the dice on the popcicle stick.
Pass the cotton ball from bowl to bowl without your hands.
Stack the golf balls on top of each other.
Stack the chapsticks using chopsticks.

The games took all morning and we were pretty tired when it was time to eat lunch. We all made sandwiches and watched Pirates of the Caribbean.

The sun was still shining and Jeremy was taking us kids to ride on the float. The boat didn’t go quite as fast as it did yesterday so that we wouldn’t tobble over while riding behind the boat on the float.
All of us kids had on our life jackets but we didn’t want to fall in, it was too cold. Later, Ashley and Jeremy put on the wet suits. Natalie ran the boat while Jeremy and Ashley attempted to do wake boarding. Jeremy did really good. Ashley said it was cold and she couldn’t get up but she had a lot of fun.

The guys played their traditional crochet game. Everyone was really good at getting to the goal post but one by one they got poisoned as they attempted to return to knock out the others. In the end Braden won!
Robert and Sandra made spaghetti with white and red sauces. There was lots of big chunks of bread and toss salad. We filled up with what we liked best – noodles!!
Games were played and then an early bed. The boat had been packed up for tomorrow’s leave.
Sunday: By 8am Grandma was getting everyone up. Breakfast was fixed from leftovers with eggs, sausage, and our favorite, cereal. The adults were gathering up all of our clothes and sleeping bags.
Grandma reminded everyone to put their bed and bath linens in her bathroom by the washer and dryer for the cleaners to do. Another family comes on Monday.
It lightly rained off and on all morning as we pack up the cars and cleaned out the house. It was 10 am and check out time. We drove over to a grassy parkland and shared a morning Sunday School meeting. By the time we would get back home it would be too late for most of us to go to Church.
Grandma was impressed with the little talks that us kids give. We felt happy and good and one of the mom’s said it was the Spirit of God that made us feel this way. Testimonies of Jesus Christ were shared. Grandpa said how much he loved his family and that he was so thankful that Jesus Christ loved us enough to provide a way that we might be families for ever, through His atoning sacrifice.
Families are the best things in life. This family reunion we: “Lived Well, Laughed Often, and Loved Much”.
