Our niece (Linda's brother, Steven & Vicki's daughter) Kimberly Tate married Spencer McKay Neese on Saturday 26 Feb. 2011 at 11:50 am in the Manti Temple.
We braved the 3 1/2 hour trip down to Manti to attend the wedding despite the predicted snow storm.
We were delighted that we got to travel with Cynthia and Richard Strong so we didn't have to traverse the black ice and slippery conditions around the point of the Mountain and in Utah County. It turned out to be a beautiful, blistery day.
Kim and Spencer were delighted to have Grandma Tate there.
Kim and Spencer were charming and so in love. It thrilled our hearts to see them sealed in the Holy Temple of the Lord for all eternity.
The best way to begin a marriage.
They hosted a lovely luncheon afterwards, where Kim, wore a kitchen apron to keep her dress clean.
We laughed and agreed what a smart idea.
The highlight of the luncheon was watching Kim and her dad dance.
Steven was a proud father and rightly so.
Then the newlyweds and the parents danced.... just like "Sleeping Beauty" and they lived happily ever after. That's the plan and the goal. Live by the Gospel principles and it helps to make life happy.
